At Precision Garage Door of Las Vegas, our warranty program is designed to give homeowners confidence in the work performed — today and for years to come.

Warranty coverage is based on the scope of work completed, the solution selected, and whether the customer maintains an active PrecisionCare Membership for extended protection.

What is PrecisionCare?

PrecisionCare is a preventative maintenance membership that enables extended warranty coverage. It is not a warranty itself.

PrecisionCare includes:

  • Two professional maintenance visits per year
  • A comprehensive safety inspection
  • System lubrication and alignment checks
  • Priority scheduling
  • Continued eligibility for extended warranty coverage
  • Without an active PrecisionCare Membership, warranty coverage defaults to our standard 30-Day Parts & Labor Warranty.

Warranty Eligibility Requirements

Extended warranty coverage (beyond 30 days) requires:

  • PrecisionCare Membership purchased at the time of service
  • Enrollment in automatic monthly billing
  • Completion of two maintenance visits per year
  • Membership maintained in good standing

If these requirements are not met, coverage defaults to a 30-Day Parts & Labor Warranty.

30-Day Grace Period

If PrecisionCare lapses due to a missed payment or missed maintenance:

  • Extended warranty coverage remains valid for up to 30 days
  • After 30 days, extended warranty coverage expires and cannot be reinstated retroactively

Motor & Panel Coverage

Motor and panel coverage applies only when replaced during the same service visit as the qualifying repair or replacement.

Components replaced on a separate visit are not retroactively covered.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

All Precision warranties are provided in addition to any applicable manufacturer or factory warranties.

Manufacturer warranty approval and coverage remain subject to the manufacturer’s terms and policies.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

  • Accidental damage, misuse, or abuse
  • Environmental or structural conditions
  • Work performed or modified by another company
  • Missed maintenance beyond the grace period
  • Normal wear or cosmetic issues

NON-TRANSFERABILITY

All warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original customer and service address.

HOW TO REQUEST WARRANTY SERVICE

To request warranty service:

  1. Contact our office with your service invoice information
  2. We’ll verify coverage and membership status
  3. Eligible warranty service will be scheduled promptly

Warranty coverage is provided according to the following tiers:

  • Tier 1 — Budget System Repair:
    30-Day Parts & Labor Warranty
  • Tier 2 — Standard Partial Recommended:
    1-Year Parts & Labor Warranty
  • Tier 3 — Premium Partial Recommended:
    5-Year Parts & Labor Warranty
  • Tier 4 — Standard Full Recommended:
    5-Year Parts & Labor Warranty
  • Tier 5 — Premium Full Replacement:
    Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty

Extended warranty tiers (Tiers 2–5) require continuous compliance with the PrecisionCare Membership requirements outlined below.

All extended warranty tiers require the customer to:

  • Purchase the PrecisionCare Membership at the time of service
  • Enroll in monthly auto-billing for PrecisionCare Membership
  • Complete two maintenance visits per year
  • Maintain the membership in good standing

Without an active PrecisionCare Membership, warranty coverage defaults to our standard 30-Day Parts & Labor Warranty.

  • Partial Replacement: One or more torsion system components are replaced, but not the entire system.
  • Full Replacement: All torsion system components are replaced during the same service visit.

Yes. Precision is licensed, bonded and insured and our techs have also passed background checks.
